MASTERS B

The Olympic (standard) distance triathlon on the stunning coastal course in Byron Bay includes an ocean swim, a lapped cycle course to Suffolk Park, and a lapped run past the Beach Hotel and your adoring fans at the Surf Club.

The Olympic category is typically for professional and competitive athletes and those stepping up from the Sprint as a fitness goal to tick off your bucket list!

The Olympic Teams category is also one of the largest and traditional favourites.

Withdrawals

To request a withdrawal, transfer or refund you must email louise.jones@auscycling.org.au  in advance of the event.

Refer to our Terms & Conditions for details.

Sign On

Race sign on opens 60 minutes before race start and closes promptly 10 minutes before race start.

Registration

Ensure you arrive prior to your race with enough time to receive your registration pack.

Your registration pack will include:

  • Frame sticker
  • Two bibs
  • Pins
  • Timing transponder

Entry Information

Entries close 31 July 2022. 

  • Withdrawal 45 days or more out from the event you will receive an 80% refund or 100% credit. 
  • Withdrawal 14-44 days out from the event you will receive a 50% refund or 100% credit. 
  • Withdrawal 13 days or less out from the event you will receive no refund and 100% credit of your entry fee. 
  • Withdrawal 48 hours or less out from the event you will receive no refund or credit of your entry fee. 
  • Refunds or credits do not apply to items such as merchandise, accommodation, meals, travel and are only applicable to entry fees. 
  • To receive credit or refund, withdrawals must be made in writing to battle@nxsports.org

Event Information

The Road Race starts at 7.30am on Saturday, the Time Trial starts at 7am on Sunday, and the Criterium starts at 11am on Sunday.

Results will be housed on the Queensland Road Team Series and National Road Series respective websites.
